Discount Tire routinely has better selection, more appointment slots, easier/quicker for free rotations and tire repair, better customer service and the same or better prices than Costco. It does seem to be all about the food. I got a shit ton of pork, beef and fish. I got some pretty killer spicy tuna poke. More TP than I could imagine. All new bath towels. you can in say the Best Buy app. Can’t order online for same day pickup in store — though you can opt for an online order to be delivered to a store for pickup. The membership card integrated into the app that now works at the Gas station too means I don’t have to carry my wallet/card to the store anymore. So that’s nice. Costco demands a 20% on shelf value to WMT for all branded items. Sometimes there’s a little leeway if you offer them a better quality product, but you’re getting value. The challenge is in making sure you consume what you buy so you’re not wasting money. And not buying extra shit you don’t need.
