Just got my new glasses with progressive lenses

this is gonna take some getting used to. Using my eyes to look between the sections and not moving my head. Plus I'm supposed to talk to them in a few days about getting computer glasses (blue lens I think they're called.)

It was amazing how quickly I adapted to progressives. Love 'em.

Took a minute to get used to them, but they're great.

Even had contacts for awhile that had a progressive lens, though those didn't work as well. With my astigmatisms I just flat out can't see as well with contacts and we've tried many different types.

monovision is really nice. When I needed distance correction I would simply not wear my left contact. I'm surprised more don't do this.

i generally just wear reading glasses unless I'll be out in the sun and need to wear sunglasses

in which case I'll do the same...one contact in my left eye for reading

I did the one contact lens for near vision in my left eye and one for distance in my right eye...

for awhile.

Guess it sort of worked, but kind of hated it for driving. Just felt like I couldn't see well enough out of my left to get comfortable behind the wheel.

The difference is they kind of go from near to medium distance (like 15 feet). So there are much bigger ranges for doing the stuff I do most. About the only time they are worse than regular progressives are movie theaters and driving.

Computer glasses aren't necessarily blue light glasses. They are lenses between your normal distance
