Great business for Spurs, IMO. One of the worst Premier League players I can remember in terms of basically everything he does but run fast and arrive in the box on time. Scored a bunch of goals, including the Europa winner (still skeptical he got a touch…), but you just can’t have a right winger who is a 0 in build up. And if teams are playing more conservatively defensively and putting numbers behind the ball, he can’t even do the 1 thing he does well. Was shocked Spurs paid £50MM for him and shocked someone is now buying him for £35MM. Of course, Spurs are supposedly not targeting the 1 player they desperately need in the transfer market, a passing midfielder (hell, they need 2).
