Kew Gardens. We've visited Central London a couple times already so would like to try out a different part of the city. Anybody here done this before? Any pointers?

If you're using the tube, figure a good hour to get to Richmond. The Ted Lasso alley/green is really neat if you're a fan. We ate at the pub, which is nothing special in terms of pub food/beer...no different than most other pubs...but the atmosphere was fun. Not a lot to do in Richmond, to be honest, other than taking some pictures.

I was thinking of taking Mrs. ATL here for high tea

Always fun to see the non-touristy parts of London. My daughter and I had a blast walking around Fullham. Working class neighborhood, real people, and peaking into Craven Cottage.

We did high tea in Victoria, BC with our kids.

Of course our “kids” were 20 and 23 when we were there last summer.

least to Wembley it looks like on the Tube. By car it's 30 minutes, by tube 1 hr with a transfer, and by rail 45 minutes with a transfer.
