Why are the anti-imperialists so silent about the “victory” of the Taliban over the West?
If I was an anti-imperialist I would be shouting from the rooftops about this historic victory.
I’d make sure I’d be writing letters to my party’s paper, praising these “heroes”, badgering them to get an interview with the leaders of the Taliban. I’d be wanting their face on a t-shirt, poster, pen, mug etc.
Why have they all gone quiet over this?
Do they all live in an ivory-tower? Aren’t they happy that the West and it’s values have received a hammering? Are they above such realpolitik? As China and Russia have given the Taliban their support.
