I do understand how difficult it for the anti-imperialists. They don't have a great deal of options here. If they say yes, the Taliban struck a blow against imperialism, they are going to be exposed. As this will show that being against imperialism has nothing to do with socialism. But equally if you say no, we are not happy that the Taliban are in power in Afghanistan. Then, that too will expose anti-imperialism as just a sham.
I'm just disappointed in you Francis, you've been very friendly to me here. All you needed to do was say, you know what I got this one wrong and you were correct. Instead you come out with a very abstract and ivory-tower response. The irony is that is what the SPGB are accused of!
