PK - stop and think. You are calling for exactly the same thing as the right wing of the tory party: an end to a BBC funded through licences. If the licence fee is abolished and the BBC has to do what the tories suggest - find alternative sources of income - it means yet another media channel funded by commercials, and accordingly under the control of the private sector. Much may be wrong with the BBC, but even more is wrong with the alternatives.
