'konspiratsija'
One of the first things communist cadres sent to Moscow for training in the 1920s and 1930s used to be taught was 'konspiratsija' - the art of maintaining secrecy and security. Even in the 1970s and 1980s, any communist who tried talking about armed struggle and militias in the party press would not have been published. But now we have social media, which is a honeypot for cranks, nutters, socially-inadequate teenagers and the like. Take a look at some of the specimens on Twitter with hammers and sickles in their bylines. And any of them can post any rubbish they like on official party forums, attracting unwelcome attention from the state, political opponents or whatever. I very much doubt any communist is collaborating with 'Prevent'. It's more about avoiding the unwelcome attention of the authorities when some half-witted fantasist starts spouting 'rrrrevolutionary' drivel on a party forum.
