Many year ago I had a friend who worked in the funeral trade. If I recall correctly lead-lining of coffins is an old-fashioned practice. It would have no effect on her decomposition. However, she would most likely have been embalmed. That is usually the case unless the body is buried almost immediately (as is the fashion with Jews and Muslims).
