I wanted to response your post before but just take time now.
These pair of bracelets remained quite a mystery to me.
First, I don't think the central elements are the square buckles you posted. They seem to be rounder.
A possibility, this other pair of William IV - Queen Adelaide cyphers brooches also in the Royal Collection: https://www.rct.uk/collection/37014/pair-of-brooches

In her book, on page 111, Leslie Field called them "The King William IV Buckle Bracelets".
According to her :
"On King George V's accession to the Throne in 1910, Queen Mary had two blue enamel buckle mounts set as the centerpieces of matching four-row diamond bracelets, one of which was made in 1838 and left to the Crown by Queen Victoria; the other, which had formerly had a large portrait medallion of Prince Albert, was worn by Queen Victoria every day of her life following her marriage."
So : a matching 4 strands diamond pair of bracelets, one at least, made for Queen Victoria in 1838, both modified in or around 1910 by Queen Mary to adapt the enameled brooches.
Queen Victoria wore the bracelet made in 1838 very often.
But... by looking at the Royal Collection Trust at a miniature of Prince Albert (link : https://www.rct.uk/collection/4826/brooch-with-a-miniature-of-prince-albert-1819-1861 ), we can read that :
"A bracelet with diamond border and four diamond bands also contained a copy of Ross's 1840 miniature and was worn constantly by the Queen throughout her life. That bracelet, however, was bequeathed to Victoria, Princess Royal."
So 4 possibilities :
1-The Royal Collection Trust Web site may be wrong and the bracelet was never bequeated to Princess Victoria.
2-The 1838 bracelet was not left to the Crown as Field said, but bequeated to the Empress of Germany (whom, like her mother, also died in 1901).
3-The 1838 bracelet, left to the Crown at Queen Victoria's death, was not the same bracelet bequeated to Vicky.
4-There were two diamond bracelets with a miniature of Prince Albert. One was left to the Crown, the other left to Vicky and, as She died few time after her mother in 1901, the bracelet stayed in the British royal collection or return in it a few time after.
To add to the mystery: Queen Alexandra seemed to have worn the same bracelet (with a different center) at her coronation in 1902... but looked to be longer, even loose on her wirst.
Also in Field book,p. 110
"For her Coronation on 9 August 1902, Queen Alexandra wore on her left wrist a four-row pearl bracelet with a large sapphire and diamond clasp. The pearls may have been the eighty-eight that were made into a bracelet by Queen Victoria in 1838, and left to the Crown."
What to think of that ?
In my opinion, the bracelet Queen Alexandra wore is made of diamonds and not pearls...
Did Leslie Field had the word diamond in mind and wrote pearls by mistake or by a real misidentification ?
For me, Queen Alexandra wore Queen Victoria's four-row diamond bracelet (maybe enlarged) with the miniature of Prince Albert removed.
Even the new clasp seemed different on both photos... On one, we can see a large stone set on a round diamond clasp. On the other, a pointed square clasp with a dark stone.
So, I'm afraid there are more questions than answers ;o)
