How could the french newspaper print false news such as the doors of the car were not locked. Will they publish a picture of their engagement ring which is not 40 carats. Sad for the Napoleon Family.
Thank you Vincent for the corrections, so the story was too good to be true...
Presque un poisson d'avril, après tout !
Just a few details about that story...
-The car doors were absolutely closed and locked when the prince and his fiancée quickly popped in the hotel to check if they had a room. The car was parked, nearly in front of the hotel.
-The diamond does not weight 40 carats... It is much less
-It never belonged to empress Eugénie, but it comes from a piece of jewelry which belongs to the imperial family.
-The price is absolutely not one million euros.
French readers will read more in Point de Vue in the coming weeks and the international ones, will read more on my instagram page.
Best
Vincent
