Re: A few corrections
Hello Maria Olivia, I have no idea how my colleagues journalists work. Not my place to comment on their work. I can only answer for me. I have always found that the best idea in that kind of situation is to read the information you find and then try to find more. In that case, the only solution was just to ask. If you think about it, a 40 carats cushion diamond is just enormous. Begum Aga Khan III had a 37 emerald cut diamond and it was huge. The information about the car not beeing locked has been copied everywhere and it is just not true. The Eugénie provenance did not make sense either. Empress Eugenie’s jewels are well known and a diamond of 40 carats would have left a track in history. It is not the case and the provenance of that diamond is much more simple. Best . Vincent
