Re: Queen Maud wedding gifts - brooch from King Haakon or Maharaja?
So far I haven't found a reference to the Maharaja of Cooch Behar giving Queen Maud a wedding gift or of HM wearing such a gift. I have discovered that he was in the UK in 1896 so it is highly likely that a gift would have been given. Hopefully, my internet connection problems are fixed, and I will be able to access some other databases today.
