In contrast to the gifts presented at the weddings of the leading royals (in the past), rarely is there information about Coronation gifts -- certainly not a neatly catalogued list in the media.
For an exhibition in aid of charity in London in 1937 the King, Queen Elizabeth (the Queen Mother), Queen Mary and other royals lent various items from their collections.
One was the gift of the Worshipful Company of Needlemakers to Queen Mary.
I wonder if this is currently in the Royal Collection?
