I am also not convinced the lady marked number 3 is the future Queen Mary...
She is wearing black (which strikes me as very odd for the wedding of her sister-in-law, Queen Victoria is an understandable exception), she is much more voluptuous than Queen Mary was at that time and the jewellery also doesn't fit with the jewels which the future Queen Mary had at her disposal in 1896 - to be blunt they are a bit underwhelming and even by 1896 as this photo shows the future Queen/Empress had adopted the approach of more is always better - the link leads to a picture of the then Duchess in 1896. https://www.bibelotslondon.com/queen-mary-in-jewels-signed-autograph-photo-1896-by-j-thomson-4015-p.asp What do others think?
