I have been thinking about this issue all day Csaba. It is an intriguing topic, as Queen Alexandra had a lot of very grand jewels -- apart from those she received as wedding gifts. (There were more jewels given to her than the ones we normally think about)
But which ones might Edward VII have given her? Unfortunately, I don't think we have ever had any indication.
On the other hand, I think that it is likely that Edward VII (as Prince of Wales and later as King) may have given her some of her more frequently worn grand jewels.
I am thinking of how she acquired the elaborate diamond necklace (which is the lowest) in the photo below.
Some of the drops in that necklace seem to match those she wore on her pearl and diamond wedding gift necklace.
Then there are the unexplained diamond elements on Queen Alexandra's dress for the Waverley Fancy Dress Ball in 1871. Who gave her those jewels? (I am thinking of the jewels around her waist and down the front of her dress)
I have always wondered whether Queen Alexandra's elaborate pearl and diamond choker might have been a gift from her husband. I have never seen any reference to this in the UK press-- it is just my imagination.
Queen Alexandra was also photographed wearing this to the wedding of Princess Mary, Princess Royal.
It is an intriguing topic. I am ever hopeful that more information will be found, but I suspect that a definitive list of her jewels and how she acquired them won't be possible unless the Royal Collection people release a document (hopefully a book!).
As for the question of tiaras gifted to Queen Alexandra. We know that the turquoise tiara now with the Norwegian royals belonged to Queen Alexandra, and my research shows that HM had a diamond and pearl tiara which she wore both as Princess of Wales and as Queen. We can be certain of what the turquoise tiara looks like, but not the pearl and diamond one. Nor do we know who may have given these to Queen Alexandra, but my guess would be Edward VII.
