And the other big question is at (35:42) minutes into the program, the Queen wears a large oval sapphire brooch that looks just like the one purportedly gifted to the late PD by the late QEQM.
Now if it is possible that the brooch worn by HM in the film is that same brooch, is it possible that HM was loaned or borrowed jewels off her mom or was the jewel in question held in the Queen's possession as opposed to her mother's own. It could be the Russian oval sapphire brooch pinned upright, but it is so reminiscent of the one worn by the late PD, if you look at it closely.
Lastly, if the Queen wanted this film shut down it could be because at times listening to one's own voice and or viewing ones' self can become irritating and bring about some feeling of embarrassment, and I am sure the Queen must have been ashamed or felt some kind of disdain of herself for using such derogatory terms or words at the dining table to maybe describe someone or something.
But apart from that, the film was well produced and the roles of the family firm and background were all properly summarized.
There was another documentary I believe produced sometime in the late 70's or 80's which I can remember viewing in 1989/90 which was I think a 5 part documentary, and all along I thought that was the one that was banned but when I viewed this one, it was definitely not that one.
That one I am mentioning was even better, wonder if anyone could post it on here as well. I have seen only short clips of this one posted by txrus however.
Regards,
Dave.

In the documentary Royal family there is a sequence of the queen handling the sapphire tiara and the Timur ruby necklace. At one point she asks her dresser:"I have worn this once, haven't I?" - referring to the ruby necklace.
So,it seems that she has indeed worn it once but sadly there is no photo proof of that...
