you are right, this is not the Schaumburg Lippe tiara, it's the altered tiara of Princess Marie of Orleans, after it was rebuild, it could be worn without the opals on top only the base Princess Marie of Orleans Opal Tiara History| Wedding Gift of the Duchess of Chartres .
Queen Marie lent it from her family, not the first time she had lent a tiara from Princess Viggo, earlier she lent her fringe tiara for the occasion in Athens.
