At the funeral of King George VI at St George's Chapel on February 15, 1952, the recipients of his Family Order wore the badges with their mourning clothes.

I was saddened that the royal ladies did not wear the EII Royal Family Order to the late Queen's funeral. Maybe they did for the private cerermony when the coffin was interred in the King George VI chapel later that day.
