Crowne's post & Bryce's comments prompted me to do a bit of searching, & purchase some images so that we could enjoy high definition images.

As Bryce pointed out the Leek brooches belonging to QEII & Queen Camilla are different.

I know that the Welsh Guards gave a leek badge/brooch to QEII. At the time of her accession, the Queen became Colonel-in-Chief of the Welsh Guards & remained so until her demise. Prince Charles became the Royal Colonel during the 1970s. Now that King Charles is the Colonel-in-Chief, Prince William is the Royal Colonel.

So far, I have not identified who gave Princess Diana & Queen Camilla their brooches.

Whether the brooch worn by The Princess of Wales originally belonged to Princess Diana is an intriguing point. I don't know. But I have found some photos & hope that others will venture an opinion. (Finding high definition photos of Princess Diana's brooch was a nightmare!)
