Queen Mary. A brooch to identify. Edited to fix typo Archived Message

According to Roberts in The Queen's Diamonds p. 210 the second of the bracelets for Queen Mary's chain link choker was made in 1935.** It was designed to incorporate a brooch containing a 9 and three quarter carat diamond which was made in 1934. The brooch was detachable.

I am not sure if we have ever spotted the brooch being worn separately, but I will do a separate post about one possibility.

The brooch section of the chain link choker/bracelets.

I had catalogued the following image as showing the detachable brooch from the chain link choker, but recently realised that I was mistaken.

Does anyone have ideas about what the brooch could be?

**Edit: I had initially had a typo and wrote that the second bracelet was made in 1936. It was made in 1935.
