There have been tuk-tuks since three years ago, but they last just a few weeks. Conventional wisdom is that the taxi drivers have some pull and put them out of business. I'm not afraid to state this publicly because a few weeks ago, I asked the taxistas by the cocodrilio how much it would cost to drive me three blocks home. The fare has always been $50, but they said $80, to which I replied, "Ahora Ustedes son ladrones?" How can we get the tuk-tuks back?
