This post is made out of concern. For not only the health of my dog and the safety of myself but also for anybody else that doesn’t feel comfortable with aggressive dogs. What can be done about the dogs on Lázaro Cárdenas a major road? My dog Yoshi gets attacked daily when taking him to and from the beach. How does one address this issue with and to whom to notify?

I bring this to attention because on Tuesday 6:30 pm Yoshi was attacked and tackled to the ground on the road that runs parallel to the main road. Luckily I was able to intervene with a swift kick after I jumped off my bike saving a brutal outcome with Yoshi only requiring 3 stitches to his neck. I could only think that I was glad it was me and not my wife in that situation.
So with that on my mind we were again aggressively chased with nips on Yoshi’s ass while we were riding to the beach like every morning. Which brings me here with my inquiry above. I love it here and understand there will be dogs out and about but it has gotten unsafe on Lázaro Cárdenas for traffic and pedestrians this year. I never had one incident last year for almost 5 months riding the same route to the beach. This year it has been almost daily since December.
