Re: Scholarship Offers
Spoken from someone who has never played a sport at a high level. Making serious sacrifices in your life and putting an emmense amount of time to achieve a goal or dream. Yes the degree at the end is important but it is not the whole equation. Life is all about experiences and the ride. If you are not enjoying it what is the point. When talking with my daughter school rarely comes up it's usually about practice and her coaches and people on her team because she spends the majority of her time with them. Her grades are fine and the school has job fairs just for Student Athletes and also meet and greets with Alumni to help build networks. So much more to it than a degree.
