I know a very good softball player who has seven siblings. The parents did allow them to play travel and club sports, but they had to chose the reasonable/local options. With that, her exposure was very limited. She chose to go the Juco route, coming out of year two with zero debt owed.

There are many reasons why players end up at a Juco besides grades. But with these rules, it may open up that option even more.
