A kid can quit an activity at will. There shouldn't be any formal repercussions. However, that would likely end it with her high school coach. She wouldn't be welcomed back next year. For me, its a bad look. But, if the college coach that recruits her is OK with it, then what do I know? Loyalty seems to mean very little these days.
