There will only be 32 teams between 3A and 4A left at that point in playoffs. The majority of sectional final games are scheduled for 6/6, the last day of dead period. I’d consider yourself lucky that your daughter is on a competitive enough high school team to be one of the final 16 remaining teams in either 3A or 4A.

Do you think a college coach would want to hear, well my team has a chance to advance to the elite 8 in my state tourney but I was worried about recruiting so I quit. College coaches love to post high school stats on their player’s profiles. And it’s a great life experience for your daughter.
