When you coach, you know you're going to get second guessed at every turn. You know you're going to hear about decisions to bunt, steal, take the extra base, lineups, etc. It all gets second guessed. It comes with the territory.
Yes, it has chased many good coaches out of the game. Often times, it affects the spouse or family members more than the actual coach.
But, I disagree that the better team won on Friday. The better prepared team won on Friday. I'll give you that. The CP coaching staff put in the extra work, they had their team fired up, and convinced them they were going to win.
It worked because as prepared as CP was, LC was equally unprepared. LC was lethargic, and with the exception of a few, didn't seem interested in battling in the batter's box.
Tip of the hat to the CP coaching staff and players.
