I don't know if I agree with this claim. We all know that that total winning percentage of all teams combined needs to add up to .500, right?

In 2024, 83 teams were below .400 and 43 teams were below .300.

In 2025, 89 teams were below .400 and 45 teams were below .300.

There are 292 NCAA D1 softball programs.

But I get it that if your kid isn't happy, nothing can make it feel better...
