Dwyn’s tail began to wag softly upon seeing Uzi. ”Hey Dwyn!” She came to his side, and began rambling, not giving much time for Uzi to interject himself, not even noticing his expressions as she rambled with no filter. Then she said those words that would do her in – she wanted Uzi to claim her. Quickly her face flushed up, and she tried to hide it. As she did, Uzi took his turn to speak. ”Dwyn.” His words were soft, and her purple eyes glanced over to his face, briefly meeting his emerald gaze as he spoke again. ”I do want you, like you have no idea.” These words, and his charming smile, caused Dwyn to become more flustered – who was this embarrassed lass? Dwyn wanted so badly to just hide this side away – it was too emotional, too…vulnerable. ”I just…I didn’t want to push you.” Her ears flicked at his words. Didn’t want to…push her? Her eyes widened, her heart stopping for a moment as she processed his words. The white lass was so used to being “pushed” into things, such as the whole claiming ritual that was normal for Tarben in her childhood. So used to not having a say, but here Uzi was, respecting that she had a say for not just her body, but herself. Her purple eyes became wet as she approached the brink of breaking down, realizing her worth as an individual but having a hard time accepting it. Uzi’s next words were much needed, as they stopped the incoming tears. ”What do you mean by claiming? Are you wanting to… officialize our soulmate tie? Because, I would love to put a label on us if you’re up for it ~ And anything that may come along with that title.” Dwyn slowly returned her gaze onto Uzi as he spoke, lowering her paws from her face as a small smile of her own painted its way onto her maw. Dwyn started with a soft nod, unable to form words for a moment, but when she could, she spoke softly and shakily ”Y-yes. I w-would like that.” It was not nervousness, but rather excitement and butterflies that coursed through her. She stood up, facing her satori soulmate. ”I want us to be a thing.” She spoke, her tail starting to wag for a moment before she realized that she ad to explain some of her past with Tarben so that he could make sense of why she was so flustered. ”I, uh…I’m sorry for being so forward.” She started. ”In Tarben, the women never got a say in who they would be claimed by. They just had to submit. I was claimed but refused to submit. You could imagine the trouble that I got into, being that I was a granddaughter of Beartooth.” She took a deep breath before continuing, looking at Uzi with a shy, flustered look on her face. ”I guess I just wanted to feel like I was ‘picked’ by you, and I have a hard time expressing my feelings in romance. Sorry if that caused any confusion…” She trailed off before she quickly shook her head as to dismiss the thought. ”Nevermind that though, can we…uhm…go to your den?” She spoke, a more sheepish smile appearing on her face, again, having trouble explicitly stating her desires, given her childhood basically taught her that it only mattered what the males had to say. That ruined her parent’s relationship – her father, Pontchartrain, was never a good fit for Skadi. Dwyn knew her mother had more spunk than what her father allowed, going to the extremes of killing his son who tried to obtain the Beta role. That’s ultimately what let her escape – his treason. As much as she was not the biggest fan of her father, she had to thank him. The now butterfly lass would have never met Uzi, her soulmate, if it were not for that. A bit more confidence bubbled up in the snowy lass’s chest. ”I’d like to officialize our tie in more than just words.” Dwyn gave a flirty smile before hopping off the small ledge they were on, and would follow Uzi if he happened to agree with her request. Actions and thoughts and "Words."
