The Amberbjorne Beta hadn’t been doing much these days. Themis and Mabbit seemed to be preoccupied with the pack, however hadn’t given him any duties to see through. Demius and Yesimire, he assumed, could be expecting pups in their future. He hadn’t seen them around much lately either. Xolmin simply assumed they were busy with training, pack things, and overall just living. Life got busy, he understood that. Since the war, everyone had kinda been working on their own issues. Healing and whatnot. The pack, of course, was still grieving the losses that they’d had - Jack, Onai, Vader, as well as Elara. The pack had found it difficult to loose such bright members. It was a war that shouldn’t have happened, in Xolmin’s opinion. Obviously, Phobus should have been killed on spot when all of this had happened. Their pack would have still kept their members, as well as Hawthorne and Dawnshire. He’d heard deaths happened on their behalfs as well. However, new things were starting to stir in Starfall. He’d gotten whispers that a new King had taken over Nightingale, ending Irinias reign. Turns out, he was brother to a girl in Dawnshire - which offered them the opportunity for an alliance. Xolmin would have to speak to Themis about this in the future, possibly send him to talk. But as the air elemental was thinking, he noticed a thin pink strand stretching from his chest. His aqua eyes widened in slight shock at the sight of it - was this some cruel prank? He really had a soulmate? The Beta shook his head, confused at the sight. It wasn’t possible. He’d never found love before, and now it was striking at the perfect timing? Fate couldn’t be more cruel. However, Xolmin figured he should at least find out who was on the other end of this line. He slipped out of his den, following after the string. By doing so, he left Amberbjorne lands and found himself in a forest, firefly lights flickering every so graciously around him. He’d never seen this place before, had it always been here? Wind suddenly his is pelt, a large gush that caused him to look over, noticing an blood-red femme with horns and wings. As he glanced down at his soulmate tie, he saw it reaching out and connecting straight to her. She was beautiful in his eyes, a little scary but nothing he hadn’t seen before. He slowly began to walk forward, keeping his head at medium level and tail straight, hoping not to frighten her or come off as a threat. The snow white man then stopped a little ways away and cleared his throat, taking a seat as he did so. “Uh, Hi there. I’m Xolmin, beta of Amberbjorne. It’s nice to, well, meet you. That pink strand on your chest is connected to mine.” He spoke, almost bluntly giving her the news. She probably already knew it, but he didn’t know for sure. “Who might you be?”
