Her eyes followed the fireflies, lost in the flickering they did in the dark with a smile on her jaws. If only life could be as brilliant as the light of these bugs. What made them flicker in the dark? Why did they swarm the forests here? In her interest in the bugs, she had nearly forgotten about the string on her chest. A voice brought her back to reality. “Uh, Hi there. I’m Xolmin, beta of Amberbjorne. It’s nice to, well, meet you. That pink strand on your chest is connected to mine.” In his first sentence she whipped around to face the ivory man. A smile crossed her face, he was quite handsome. Xolmin, and a Beta of a neighboring, allied back. She sat down, her plume curling around her paws. “Who might you be?”
"I did not venture out of Hawthorne only for the fireflies, though they are pretty." She said with a soft giggle. Her wings spread out, as her crown stayed high to the sky. "I am Princess Skade, daughter of Queen Lucaya and King Nibris, and Beta of Hawthorne. Next in line for the throne." With another giggle, she let her crimson eyes pulse. "I am a Vampiric Dracarae, daughter of the Vampire King and Queen, and dubbed the Blood Princess since I was a babe." She spoke, her voice was calm yet eerie. She took a light pause, to listen if he chose to speak. If he was connected to her, it was only fair to display what he would be getting himself into.
With a bow of her head to him, and a smile she spoke again. "Thank you, for serving with my family in the war. My Great Uncle Vladimir surely made a good choice in choosing Ambebrjorne in Dawnshire. Such a waste of flesh however on Phobus, though, and such a waste of time that my mother didn't slay him where he stood on trial." She spoke, her words of Phobus meshed somewhat with anger. Her crimson eyes however attempted to meet his own orbs. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Xolmin of Dawnshire. Tell me, is this something you wish to pursue?"
