WHAT?
The Blood Princess felt giddy to meet the one she was fated to be with, an Amberbjorne soldier ~ And even decorated as a Beta. Her parents would be pleased to hear it, but more so she was happy herself with it. The idea of being bound to someone in ways only each other could see, bound at the spirit. It was more than just a bodily attraction, it was two souls intertwining. Her crimson eyes stayed on the ivory and shadow pelted man, almost with a stare of a starving animal hunting its prey. He didn't shy away like most did, even the newcomers they got were frightened by her ~ Gaelle especially. The young girl nearly quaked in her fur at the sight of her or the mention of Vampires, it was surprising how she still stayed despite it.
Her eyes bore into Xolmin as she spoke, displaying her murderous heritage and thanking him for serving in the war alongside her family. She waited in turn for him to speak, her wings folding on her back finally and her head still raised high as her mother always told her to do. He bowed to her, before he spoke. "It is an honor to fight alongside the forces of Hawthorne, our alliances have been forged through the trials of war, and together, we have stood strong against the forces that sought to extinguish our light." She gave a nod of respect to the man, his words kind and true. "Princess Skade, I am drawn to the strength and complexity that emanates from you, your power and your heritage may be daunting to some, but I see beyond the darkness. I see the potential for growth and change, for a connection that transcends the boundaries of our respective realms."
A small grin formed on her lips as she sat. "You would be the first aside from my family to not look at me in fear. My lineage has been born of hatred, blood lust, power, fire, and fear. That's enough to make anyone cower I suppose, but it's . . . nice to have someone not look at me like the monster I can be. She admitted back, a twisted grin on her face. She asked him if he'd like to pursue her, an honest question as she did not care much for a game of cat and mouse. The grin on his face and the air he moved around made her have chills down her spine. "Yes, Princess, this is something I wish to pursue," She smirked, giving a nod of agreement. "I believe in the power of our connection, the bond that links our souls. Together, we can navigate the intricacies of our intertwined destinies. There will be challenges, obstacles, and the weight of expectations. Yet, I am willing to face them all, to stand by your side as your equal and your support. Together, we can carve our own destiny, one that defies the constraints of fate."
Her smile stayed as her crimson eyes looked into his aqua hued own. She rose to her paws once more, circling him slowly. Her auburn plume draped over his shoulder for a moment before she dragged it along his body. "Then I'd like to formally invite you to meet my parents. Surely they'd like to meet their heirs fiance, and my mother enjoys weddings. They may have to throw us one if you're interested in that sort of thing." She giggled, perhaps getting a little ahead of herself. "One of our main expectations would be to keep the vampire lineage. My mother was the first in Starfall for what's believed to be centuries, and changed my father and myself before the war." She paused for a moment in front of him, a smile on her face. "You say my power and heritage does not bother you, that you're drawn to my strength. Have you considered being reborn as a vampire?" She asked, awaiting his response and listening when he'd give one. She'd wait till he was finished speaking before moving to her next question. "Also, as I said, I am heir of Hawthorne. If we were to wed, you'd become heir with me. Should my parents ever fall, we'd be appointed King and Queen of the Vampires. Would you be willing to leave Amberbjorne for that?" She asked, part of her having hope he would wish to join her though she would understand if it was too much.
The Blood Princess knew she could be . . . overwhelming with her presence and words. Yet she only stuck to her truth. She wished for him to want her as she wanted him. She was not like the Tarben floozy they contained to a cell, waving herself around like prime rib to sleep with her captors and escape if she could. She had to be prim and proper. And more than anything, she wanted to know if he would truly be with her. If he'd turn for her. If he could bear the weight of a heavy title and bloody crown with her. Her crimson gaze would stay glued on him as she was only inches from him, examining his features and how he'd speak if he did not move away from her.
