Stoic and cold she stood, waiting for whoever it was in front of her to make themselves known. From the scent of it, it was a male of some kind. Why was he still hiding? The woman went on a slight defense, a bit skeptical of this Pack now. Would they murder newcomers? She was a vampire, and a trained solider. She'd be fine if an ambush were about to begin. This really wasn't something that Revna was hoping for though. The scents along the border seemed to match the scent wafting from the wolf waiting in the shadows. Huh. Maybe he was some higher up rank. After all, that's who could accept wolves into the Pack right? Someone with a high enough rank and that was close enough to the King and Queen? That was her understanding of it anyhow. That's how it was back home.. the word home seemed like such a foregin concept to her now. Revna would remember fondly the good times she'd faced there, with all the new trainees.. Bright, unscarred by the sight of war, and unscathed by the touch of another wolves claws. They were hopeful for a better future. It was up to Revna to break that spirit, to show the ugliness of war to those young wolves. It broke her heart in the beginning, to see the light of hope draining and becoming cold. After sheilding herself from emotion, Revna was able to handle it better. No longer would it hurt to see the light draining from her best friends eyes as she had laid cold on that battlefield. No longer would it hurt to hear the words that her only son had succumbed to his injuries. She refused to let it hurt her anymore. When the man stepped out of the darkness, she found it hard to still see him. The only thing that she really could see was the scales rippling down his front legs. A bit of surprise crossed her face, but at the same time.. she was a Vampire. She knew there were probably different bloodlines of mutations and everything. Her homeland was mostly normals, with a few vampiric beings scattered about. "Hello, Revna. I'm Vladimir, uncle of the Queen and Delta of this pack." The man spoke, introducing himself as Vladimir. A bit of a smile crossed her lips as she greeting him with a head dip. "We'd love to have you here, such a strong woman as yourself. The King and Queen would be pleased to meet you as well. Queen Lucaya is currently the only Vampire here, but is offering the blood to any who wish to bare it in her kingdom. You're more than welcome here." So there was only one vampire currently.. that shocked her a bit. She'd heard rumors of the bloodthirsty pack. Maybe it was just their nature? "It's wonderful to meet you, Vladimir." She greeting him, liking the way his name rolled off her salmon tongue. "Would you like me to show you around?" He asked her, and the way he was looking at her was surprising to her. Like he genuninly wanted to be around her. Revna wasn't used to that look, as most who were near her back home just wanted to get away from her. They knew of her Vampiric ways and they were scared of her. It was an advantage she'd used for training. "Thank you for accepting me into your home." She spoke clearly, her good rose eye staring intently at him. She shifted slightly in her stance, taking a step towards him. "I'd love for you to show me around. You say you're a Delta, hm? Trainer of soliders. I think we'll get along great." She smirked, moving to his side as she glanced back at the territory. "What secrets lie in these lansd?" Revna wondered aloud, before lightly nudging him with her hip. She waited for him to lead the way - slightly excited to see the world of Hawthorne. But she chose not to show her excitement, or much emotion other than her polite smile.
