His eyes stayed on her, as he spoke she listened. He felt like he could stay in this moment forever, under the spirit lights with this beautiful girl. He offered up some of the food she had brought to him, his changing was strange but the more he fed the more power he felt. No wonder Lucaya clung to this feeling and adored it. He was born again, no longer tired of his resting life that seemed to be spiraling downward. He could fix it, he could be the strong father his children needed. "No, thank you Vladimir. I'm alright. You need fuel. Vampirism, when first turned, you can't get enough into your system. You drain it all - which is why I've stocked you on enough for now." He returned the smile she carried on her face, his suns meeting her roses. "Thank you." He sank his teeth into another hare, draining it of it's blood before he heard her speak once more.
"I'm sorry about your daughter. No maiden deserves to be subjected to such a matter. There are monsters in this world. Vampires? Not one of them. These monsters have infected minds, minds that focus purley on rage and violence. No morals. How is your daughter doing now? Better yet, how are both of them doing? I can't imagine how much strength she'll need to get through that." He swallowed the last gulp of blood, the coppery taste lingering on his tongue as he looked to the ground. His jaws left the carcass as he couldn't meet her eyes. "Thank you, Revna. From what I understand she's doing alright. Her mate has been attending to her, and helping her as well. She wants to be turned as well by Lucaya, she doesn't want to have to fear for anyone to do that to her again. I don't want her to fear that either." He said softly, looking up to her.
She stood closer to him, their fur mixing together. A smile crossed his face as he rose up a bit. "As for war, you no longer have to plan alone. I'll help in any way that I can. I'll be right by your side, and we'll win this war. Hawthorne has numbers." He nodded, a smile on his face as he looked from her to the lights that lit up the mountains around them of Hawthorne. "You're right. Thank you, Revna." He said softly, brushing his shoulder to meet hers. "This may be too forward of me, but I know a good heart when I meet one. You're a lot like me, a twin flame one might even say. Revna, would you do me the honor of being my mate?" He asked her, a smile on his face.
