The days had seemed to fly by, he was still awaiting being changed by his darling eldest sister. Part of him still resented even staying here in these lands, finding it irritating to even be tied down around almost nothing but his family. Yet he had found a way to feel wanted for the time being, Daneliya. They were soulmates now, bound by the chest. She'd be having children any time now, and he was anxious to see if the woman was truly carrying any of his children.
She was certainly large, belly wise. It made him feel disgusted by her, she wasn't as pleasing to look at with a swollen belly - More so because he didn't know if he was the father. If he wasn't, he'd certainly find any way he could to hurt her for it emotionally. His anger and irritability had caused him to remain away from her most days, finding it hard to even meet her gaze. How dare she, while they were already connected? Maybe he should have cut the tie then and there when he realized it, but where was the fun in that?
A howl ripped through the air, his head quickly looking in the direction - Daneliya. It was time to see if she was a wife or a wh0re. He smirked, quickly taking off as the widow felt his chest beat faster and faster. Honestly, he was anxious. If he was a father, then he'd be tied to the same person forever, stuck with her without an excuse. Maybe he could force himself to love her . . . His thoughts cleared as he entered the den she laid in.
Fade in, fade out . . .
Anger had boiled in him since the moment the first strange colored man came out. He stood silent for a while, no one had come besides him. He waited still as she spoke, a blank expression on his face. "What should we name them?" She dared to act like everything was okay? His crimson eyes stayed on her, focused on nothing but her as she continued to name off the children that surely looked like him. "I suppose we could name this little boy Nephilim-I like that name for him. His scales are so like mine. And I think this girl should be Derevko."
There it was - He saw it in her face as she looked to the ones who undoubtedly were not his. Then her gaze looked to a few of the limp ones, stillbornes. "She's not going to make it." Her voice carried out and he felt not a shred of sympathy. "She's already dead, Daneliya." He said shortly, venom in his voice. "I'll bury the one who is clearly mine, maybe she'd have survived if you hadn't wh0red yourself out." He said harshly, looking at the two children in disgust that didn't resemble him or her completely.
The widow mans crimsons narrowed as they looked to meet her gaze. "So, who is he?" He asked sharply, not speaking loud enough to frighten the pups but angerly hushed. "Because I'm not raising children that are not mine -- And neither are you if you wish to still be my mate. You knew what this string was and you ignored it, you slept with him while you were bound to me. And don't give me the "I didn't see it" like it's not literally attached under your face." He growled lowly, giving a small breath. "Tell me who he is, I need to inform him in person that my cheating soulmate birthed his bastard leeches - And that you will nurse them, wean them, and they will be handed over to him. Unless you think you're choosing incorrectly."
"Oh sweetheart, oh sweetheart, you're breaking my heart . . ."
