Shadow was doing a patrol when he caught the scent of a pup, and he was so focused on following her that he didn't realize he was in Hawthorne territory until it was to late. "oh damn." he muttered as he looked around realizing. he didn't want to turn around, because there was a pup out there who was scared and lost, she could be hurt.

, he didn't want to seem like he was a threat but he couldn't leave, he knew his alpha would be mad, but he couldn't stop, he had to fine the pup, so he got his strength and continued on, he traveled down a hill and his paw twisted beneath him and he tumbled down, he he just layed there stunned and in pain. he tried to stand on the paw but he wined quietly, but he ignored the pain and continued following the scent, but it soon became to much and he sat on the ground and liked his paw, trying to ease the pain shooting through his leg.
Shadow knew that he couldn't leave now, he couldnt even stand, non the less but he managed to drag him self to the edge of a river and leaned down to drink and wait for somone to find him.
