Aeolus spoke as Jinthe ducked her head, thanking him, and saying she was fine. ”Don’t worry about formalities.” He spoke, turning his head in embarrassment for a moment before he still urged her into the lands. That was one thing the lad had not gotten used to – being bowed at. The royal family, at least the males, did not like the supreme feeling of authority when bowed at. Achilles had taught Aeolus, Apollo, and Hermes that, but given the egos of his two sky pelted brothers, Aeolus was the only one to abide by that tidbit. Many of Sabertooth’s members had a mutual respect amongst each other, and while rankings were in place, no one was to be treated based on ranking alone. He brought her inland to find her care or nourishment, even, and on the way, he asked her name. ”Jinthe.” Aeolus gave a small smile at the squeaky first attempt before the lamprydae, flora, and feline lass spoke once again, her voice a little more clear. ”Jinthe.” Aeolus turned his gaze towards her, speaking kindly. ”It’s nice to meet you, Jinthe.” He looked back ahead of them – there was the creek. Of course, this was not the same area to which he and Derevko had their first run in since their tie, that would rise awkward feelings in him. His ears oriented back as she spoke again, also picking up on the nervousness in her voice. ”So. You’re…a prince of Sabertooth?” She started, to which he just replied with a simple nod. Jinthe continued. ”I…I know I don’t look like it, but I could be a very good sigma. I actually don’t remember where I came from. I just know that I mysteriously have excellent reflexes and can fight well. I had a bit of a run-in with a fox.” Aeolus smiled. ”Foxes can be pesky.” Although he himself never had a grapple with one, he knew that Sabertooth was known for the plenty of mountain lions that would pass through. The crimson, leather, and chocolate clad male sat down next to the creek. ”Take a seat, Jinthe. You like fish?” He questioned with a smile. Aeolus did not want Jinthe to feel pressured in any way, so he kept his gaze fixated on the water, continuing to speak. ”I have no doubt that you will be a great sigma for Sabertooth, if you choose to stay here that is.” He paused, giving time for her to let the message sink in – she had a position as sigma in Sabertooth if she wanted. ”Sabertooth is about respect, and all members are expected to maintain that relationship amongst each other. Of course, it is natural for the typical “lower rankings” to respect the “higher rankings”, but we, the royal family, and other members such as our Betas and Deltas, are expected to return said respect. You will never have someone demean you because of your ranking here, where you’re from, or what your history is.” Just in time, a fish made its way up stream, and Aeolus’s darkened paw batted into the water to hold it down, followed by his maw dipping in to grab it. Once Aeolus pulled the trout’s writhing body out of the water, he tossed it gently to Jinthe’s paws. ”That’s all yours.” The winged male spoke, another soft smile on his face, his grey and navy eyes gently observing Jinthe. He hoped she would eat the trout, but also keep it down. Actions and thoughts and "Words."
