Tyche had come home singing the praises of some new member not too long ago. Remus was, to say the least, suspicious of it all. They had a recently-developed problem: nobody could locate Lux. Remus’ son had just . . . vanished, apparently. Tyche spent hours each day crying. She had just run out of the family’s little den cluster crying softly, so of course, Remus had to go find Tyche and make sure she was okay. He found his daughter huddled on the forest floor . . . and an earthen-eyed teen approaching her, looking for all the world a lovestruck young boy.
Of course. Tyche’s infatuation. Remus settled himself in the shrubbery, content to watch. “Hi, Tyche! Wanna talk?” spouted the teen. He couldn’t see that Tyche was crying, Remus surmised, since she was turned away from him. Okay. Hmm.
He watched as Tyche whipped to face the lad, bright eyes watery. “Oh! Oh - Earth. Hi.” She sniffled softly, and though Remus couldn’t see her face very well from this angle, he somehow knew that she was smiling. “You caught me unawares, sorry.” Not long ago, it seemed, she had been a painfully shy, tiny pup who could barely enunciate words, and now she was an eloquent, clever adult ranked within Sabertooth. Artemis would be proud if she could see their children today - Tyche and Lupin as sigmas, and Selene as Achelois’ heirtheta! Lux and Aegaeon would likely have been ranked as sigmas, too. If only they were still here today . . .
"missing her is dark grey, all alone . . ."
