Oh, this boy was sweet, that was for sure . . . Remus gave a soft sigh of approval. Earth’s offer to get Tyche food calmed some of Remus’ fears about Tyche finding a crush. He studied the two, as well as the newcomer who appeared to be a sister to Earth. Hopefully Earth and his sister could cajole Tyche into eating. This, of course, was rich coming from Remus; he too was failing to eat properly, though he was failing to eat because of grief. Tyche had been ill. They both matched, their thin frames having become sort of ribby. Remus could still hunt well enough, though. Tyche was a mediocre hunter, her body naturally more suited, in its prior healthy, wiry frame, to dodging and twisting in the heat of battle, rather than bringing large or even medium prey down.
He watched as Tyche accepted, nodding graciously. “Yes, Earth. Thank you.” Remus had to smile at his daughter’s manners and shyness, as well as the fact that she would accept food from Earth. He curled his tail around his feet, bright eyes flicking between the three as he weighed the benefits of revealing himself.
