The Skyling came out of nowhere, sharp words flowing after she bumped into Castiel. He swiftly apologized to the girl. “My apologies, dear, it does seem I’m not in a very good place for spacing out, am I?” He chuckled a bit at this newcomer’s sassy tone, ceding to the fact that he hadn’t chosen a very good place to sit down. “I try not to make it a habit of ‘getting’ girls, if you must know. More concerned with helping keep my pack running.” He studied this girl. She was sharp-tongued and witty, with a beautiful appearance besides; she must be of Hawthorne, ruled by the Vampire Queen. “Are you from Hawthorne? I’m from Sindri. Name’s Castiel.” He didn’t reveal his relation to Sindri’s alphess or rank within the pack. Cas felt that may be gloating or something. No - better to just be polite and easy with the Skyling. Charm came easy to Castiel. He was one of those good-natured, likable men who would sooner defend a woman than hurt her, and who always behaved acceptably to everyone.
