How about you do all the things you suggested and you let me do what I think is good for my family? That is my biggest gripe. Not saying the consequences of Covid aren't deadly for a small sub population because they are. However lumping the entire population into the same category is not productive and actually has been harmful for a variety of reasons that I don't need to repeat. When my family travels to compete we come home and don't interact with that aforementioned high risk population. Its really pretty simple if you think about it. And if you can't do that because of a multigenerational household or whatever the circumstances are then you have a choice. Risk/ reward it really isn't any different than all the other choices you make daily. It is also fair to say that lockdowns have had little positive effect on the spread of the ol' one nine. States that have locked down are really no better off than the states the haven't and in some cases much much worse! Study after study coming out that kids (schools/ athletic events) are NOT superspreading events and the only people dying are the very old with tons of underlying conditions or in a few cases people who are younger but again underlying conditions. Wash your hands, socially distance, and isolate if you must but I don't want to godown the road where we all just do what were what told and lumped into one big group because the risk is not the same for everyone.
