Production of lower-emission synthetic e-fuels will most likely eat up any overall emission reduction due to consumption of hydrocarbons to produce the low-emission synthetic e-fuels, kind'a like production of ethanol for use as a fuel.

I think we should be more focused on replacing the forests of the planet. I am doing my part ... I have thousands of trees.
