I have not seen a single fact that would lead me to believe that the Ayatollah and company would settle for any compromise of any kind. They have one goal only and have said they will continue with their nuclear buildup no matter what. They have never kept their word. Their theocratic goal is world dominion. They admit it.
To me it is beyond foolish to believe peace could be possible under this scenario.
