You know I don't know why I bother keeping a rough book of story ideas because I almost invariably ignore them when heading to the keyboard for a second polish.
I read them aloud to Tammy and we had a rip roaring discussion on the many flaws, which on reflection I thought were probably valid even if I didn't always agree with her. She's far from illiterate even if she does rely on me for a human dictionary, I'm often amazed at my own knowledge when asked how to spell a word I don't recall having previously encountered!
EXAMPLE
Tammy:-"How do you spell misogynous?"
Me:-"The adjective, that is to say the act, or the noun, the person that commits it?"
Now where the hell did that little flash of erudition come from? Those school days did me a world of good even if I don't remember the actual lessons!
Okay well stop prevaricating, Dench and have a shot at transcribing, editing, those notes otherwise why bother writing them and it wasn't easy balancing the notebook on one knee whilst cramped into my wheelchair unable to reach or make use of a tabletop.
People who own Apple smartphones seem to have more user friendly devices than my android Motorola phone whose functions are oblique and hard to find, the little icons being bloody useless. How can a notepad app not have a File/Save option?
I had to ask a nice man with an Apple who was in the urologist waiting room, how to locate said features but mine being a Motorola he couldn't give me instructions but suggested I Google my enquiry exactly as:= I have downloaded the Notepad app and cannot find the controls to load, save files or even name them.
I had hoped it would be the same as the Windows version
