So long as you realise what you are watching is op/ed, indeed entertainment, geared to fire your endorphins not your braincells.

Even with the Beeb, which is where I find myself going after hearing about some event, there still is some serious drilling down to be done to ferret out who, what, when, and where. I have no interest in anyone's guess as to how or why; those are my private domains, not theirs.

I do not "trust" interpretations by the media (as opposed to the press; two very different things), not any of them. All are served up with the expressed purpose of leading my emotions, not informing me of the events of the day. I don't need to be kept in an emotional uproar 24/7 by these entities.
