As far as the "Black Nectar", we're going to disagree on that one! That's fine, though, as there are many choices for us all. Still, you'd best stand down your well armed moggie, for I might be old but I am still very very well-trained. GRIN!
As I typed the first line of the previous paragraph, I'm reminded how much I loathe that moronic popular phrase, "...agree to disagree" as in, "Let's just agree to disagree." What socio-psychology major came up with that twaddle merely to justify drawing a breath at that very moment?
People agree or they disagree. Full-stop. "Agree to disagree" disguises itself as trying to have less a negative connotation while in reality is the very height of dismissive passive-aggression; "let's not discuss viewpoints as I dismiss yours and don't want to even continue the discussion with you." is what that really means.
I very much enjoy replying to "We'll just have to agree to disagree." with, "Oh, I disagree! And furthermore....." merrily pushing on with the very discussion they are trying to dismiss so backhandedly. It's a deliciously vicious way of calling them on their passive aggression. GRIN!
So....How are you with Marmite, then?
(Way-hey!!!)
