Never would I have thought I'd hear these words to be those of the United States:
The President of the United States: "A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again”
The Secretary of Defence, on diplomacy: "We negotiate with bombs."
Never forget those words, no matter how much they might deny them in future. With those words, a line has been crossed. The moral high-ground has been abandoned, any "greatness" has been swept away, and in one month's time this administration has done incalculable damage to the prestige of the United States from which there will be no recovery possible until the situation changes.
To the Congress and the people, dust off your copy of the Constitution and give it a read. Your responsibilities, like your rights, are clear in that document. Your apathy makes accomplices of you all.
