A long time ago, several years, perhaps more than ten? I wrote a vituperative rant concerning a political party that had thoroughly earned my contempt.

My views were not well received here so I did not add any more since it would only serve to alienate the friend for whom this website was built for me to have someone to share interests with. Writing stories, model trains, and motorcycles being mine, his being in the same vein albeit four wheeled British jewels, lucky sod!

So you can imagine my surprise to read something like this post but you all have more or less echoed my own sentiments.

However I think Sarge in particular deserves recognition for having been a loyal patriot despite snarky remarks from some tatty old hippie
