WHATS WRONG WITH THE WIZARDS
I love the world of Harry Potter stories but theres room for improvement and the flaws are mostly because, in my opinion, the wizards are unrealistic as of course is no surprise.
I really despise the bad ones from Umbrage through Riddle aka Voldemort because they're weak, pathetic losers like the Trump administration and frankly the good guys leave a lot to be desired.
Dumbledores career is replete with errors of judgement such as deserting his squib sister, initially joining forces with the Durmstrang evil wizard he later defeats and protecting Snape from being punished as a Deatheater.
(He made you a death eater? Well... I got better! MONTY P.)
Hiring Quirrell and Lockhart, thats just a short list of Albus' screw ups and leaving baby Harry to the mercy of the Dursleys despite McGonagalls warning.
Cornelius Fudge the Minister of Magic is a real winner, a conceited useless politician, ready and willing to cover up his failings by promoting sycophants like Umbrage and disqualifying hard workers like Mr. Weaseley from deserved promotions.
Later we see the wizengamot sitting in judgement and its obvious they are a real shower which include good and bad types and generally showing that they are greatly opposed to people like the Weaseleys who are led by hearts not head when it comes to taking care of young people.
"The Ministry sees what it chooses to see."
